14th January Call out to jetskier in trouble of the
Westend carpark Loch Linnhe. With assistance from two
members of the public he was towed in to shore.
29th January Call out to land Rescue Mike Uniform at
Westend carpark to for medivac.
29th January Call out to land Helimed 5 at Westend
carpark for medivac.
16th February Call out to investigate white strobe
light flashing in the middle of Loch Linnhe. Stood down
when it was discovered to be a temporary beacon on a
UTC buoy.
24th February Call out to land Rescue 131 at Westend
carpark for medivac.
28th February Call out boat adrift on Loch Eil. Stood
down when established that know person at risk and owner's
had set out to recover the boat them selves.
3rd March Call out to land Helimed 2 at Westend carpark
for medivac.
3rd March Call out to land Rescue 177 at Westend carpark
for medivac.
4th March Call out to person possibly drunk in charge
of a canoe. Stood down when established that person
had come back to shore and was not going back out.
21st March Call out to land Helimed 2 at Corpach landing
site for medivac.
29th April Call out 15' speed boat drifting in Annat
narrows. Lochaber yacht club rescue boat tasked to tow
boat to Corpach slip. Two persons rescued.
1st May Call out to small boat washed up on island
opposite sea lock in Loch Linnhe. Owner found and informed.
2nd May Call out to land Helimed 5 at Corpach landing
site for medivac.
3rd May Call out for canoe washed upon shore of Loch
Linnhe at Corpach. Stood down when it was established
that canoe had been lying around the area for a couple
of weeks.
4th May Call out to five capsized toppers on Loch Linnhe
opposite the Westend carpark. Stood by as Lochaber yacht
club rescue boat and a Rib from the Underwater Training
Centre recovered personnel and toppers.
28th May Call out to assist Lochaber Mountain Rescue
Team in search for missing climber who had fallen into
the river Nevis.
16th June Call out to pickup water pump from Mallaig
and transport to Navy Helicopter 177.
23rd June Call out to land Helimed 5 at Corpach landing
site for medivac.
5th July Call out to land Helimed 5 at Westend carpark
landing site for medivac.
13th July Call out to assist Lochaber Mountain Rescue
Team in transporting members of the public down from
the top of Anoch Mhor restaurant to bottom carpark also
assist in landing Helimed 2 and Navy Rescue 177 who
were rescuing and evacuating members of the public from
the top station after two Gondola's collided. Fire,
Ambulance, MRT, Police and Mallaig Coastguard were all
in attendance.

19th July Call out to land Helimed 5 at Corpach landing
site for medivac.
22nd July Call out to investigate object floating in
Loch Linnhe off of Kentallen found to be part of an
old canoe pulled a shore.
23rd July Call out by police to search for person on
stolen pedalo in Loch Leven. Stood down when person
had been found on land. Found the pedalo and a grid
reference passed on to MRCC to give to owner who was
going out in rib to recover.
25th July Call out to land Helimed 5 at Westend carpark
landing site for medivac.
31st July Call out to land Rescue 177 at Corpach landing
site for medivac.
20th August Call out to investigate sighting of red
flare over the village of Caol on the shore of loch
Linnhe. Stood down after intensive search of loch Linnhe
and river Lochy resulted in nothing being found.
23rd August Call out to prepare landing site for R177.
Stood down when no longer required.
24th August Call out to person in water in Loch Leven.
Stood down when it was established that the call was
one of a series of hoax calls.
28th August Call out to land Helimed 2 at Corpach landing
site for medivac.
28th August Call out to land Helimed 5 at Corpach landing
site for medivac.
30th August Call out to land Coastguard Rescue MU at
pulpmill for medivac. Prepared carpark for helicopter
landing when gates to landing site were found to be
locked and security guard was on his rounds.
30th August Call out to land Helimed 2 at Corpach landing
site for medivac.
3rd September Call out to search for small inflatable
rib floating in Loch Linnhe. Boat located and taken
ashore owner informed.
8th September Call out to vessel on fire on Loch Linnhe.
Stood down when it was discovered to be Puffer Vic 32
steaming up the loch blowing out thick black smoke from
its funnel.
11th September Call out to red flare sighted over Caol
spit area on Loch Linnhe. Stood down when parts of flare
found on waste land where some kids were sighted by
members of public walking away from.
27th September Call out to small boat drifting on Loch
Linnhe. Went out on local Rib Orca and towed boat to
pontoon at the Caledonian Cannel.
27th September Call out to injured Kayaker on Loch
Lochy. Searched area on the Northwest shore and located
casualty onshore amongst trees. RAF helicopter Rescue
137 was tasked to winch casualty to the Belford Hospital
Fort William.
3rd October Call out to assist the Scottish Ambulance
Service with an injured person who had slipped on wet
grass up at Annat Point. Helped the ambulance crew to
stretcher casualty down slope to roadside and into the
ambulance.
19th November Call out to person being dragged behind
yacht in Loch Linnhe. Stood down when discovered it
was a small tender being towed behind the yacht.
6th December Call out to fishing boat Caprice sunk
in Loch Lochy due to heavy rain fall. Owner informed
and samples taken of pollution for SEPA who were in
attendance. British waterways who were also in attendance
recovered an oil drum that had floated off the deck.
6th December Call out to 7' tender washed up on shore
at Cuil Bay. Tender recovered and handed to police to
be put into lost and found.
8th December call out at Police request to uplift the
7' tender and store at CRE as they were worried kids
may use it.
13 December Call out at police request attended emergency
flood meting at police station at 15:00hrs and 19:00hrs.
Placed two teams one on each side of the river lochy.
Joined by two swift water rescue teams from Moary and
Inverness. Stood down at 01:00hrs when risk was deemed
to low.
19th December Call out to 4m dory Nemesis washed up
on shore of Loch Eil. Secured above high water mark
and informed Police and Clyde of its position.
