•Both of these SAR helo’s are similar

•Both have a cruising speed of 100 knots with a maximum speed of 120 knots

•RAF endurance 7.5 hours. RN 4 hours as it is heavier for anti submarine warfare

•RAF has 280 mile radius of action

•Has NVG (night vision goggles) with FLIR fit 2005.

•Winchmen are paramedic trained and RN winchman is also a diver
